Founder Joanne Borek has launched and managed several dotcoms and successful eCommerce businesses since 1995. She is an NYU Grad School Professor of Digital and Search Marketing, which makes her uniquely positioned in being able to provide world class service by keeping up to speed through our extensive network of digital professionals and marketing resources. 

Her team includes Producers, Jr Strategists, Search Marketing Specialists, and ongoing teams of NYU Graduate Student Interns. 

Joanne is a Digital Marketing and Creative Leader offering 25+ years experience in website/integrated marketing, social media, video, and e-business solutions. She launched the online presence for Lifetime Television, Hartz Mountain Pet, Encyclopedia Britannica, and other major companies before taking top level Digital Director roles at Havas and later McCANN Worldwide in New York.

Her passion for teaching began in the early 90’s, when she taught Photoshop 2.0 and beyond at Rochester Institute of Technology while still an undergrad. Over the following decades she went on to teach Digital Photography at School of Visual Arts in NYC, Media Arts at Chubb Institute, Interactive Software Development at Kean University, and several graduate-level Integrated Marketing courses at New York University. At NYU Joanne teaches Digital Marketing, Search Marketing, Website Analytics, and E-Commerce.

After leading digital departments in large public agencies, Joanne formed her own private group, Exposure LLC—Named after her passion for photography, and passion to bring her clients’ products or services to light. Exposure’s services include online advertising, social media marketing, and visual branding for all industry verticals.

Impressed with the success of Joanne’s work with Facebook business pages and Facebook Ads, Facebook Corporation asked Joanne to speak at Facebook Community Boost in October of 2018. Facebook later featured Joanne on their own Instagram and Facebook account, promoting her social media success while highlighting Facebook Messenger.

Joanne holds a BFA in Photographic Illustration and an MFA in Media Arts. She has lectured on various digital marketing topics for groups of 5 to 500 in Germany, Paris, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, Irvine, Miami, and numerous areas in and around New York City.

She lives with her husband and stepson in New Jersey.
